PURPOSE At Tiny Tigers, our commitment is always to our students and their families. Our students development, safety and happiness matters a great deal to us, and we are committed to providing an environment which encourages play and also prepares children for the exciting world of Kindergarten. We provide great care using aholistic approach to development while fostering a loving, safe and fun atmosphere for young children to learn and grow. It is also our heart to have Tiny Tigers be a place of connection and relationship for individuals and families within our greater Sunland-Tujunga neighborhood. We provide several opportunities throughout the year for children and their families to gather together and build relationships. Parents, guardians, family and friends are always welcome here. PHILOSOPHY Tiny Tigers recognizes the tremendous significance of the early years of development on the long-term health, intelligence and physiological aspects of every individual. With this being top of mind, we provide the highest quality infant care and preschool education under the direction of a fully credentialed, trained, caring and loving staff. Our program is based on principles which foster balance among cognitive, physical, emotional and social development. We encourage play as much as we drive the importance of preparing each child for Kindergarten PLAY and LEARNING goes hand in hand. For children to truly understand a concept, they need to DO and EXPERIENCE more. Through play and learning, we help each child develop a strong and balanced sense of their abilities while also encouraging and valuing their individuality and pace of learning. PROGRAM DETAILS Tiny Tigers has been owned by Sunland Foursquare Church, since 2001. The school has long been a part of the neighborhood, and Sunland Foursquare is honored to continue supporting such a fantastic staff and program! Although the school is owned by the neighboring church, Tiny Tigers does not teach biblical material. Tiny Tigers Preschool & Infant Care Center provides a year-round weekday program for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our preschool program follows the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) calendar, and generally runs from August to June. We also provide a weekday summer program from June to August.
