Victor Ikpeba, a renowned Nigerian footballer, etched his name in history with his exceptional achievements both domestically and internationally.

Ikpeba's passion for football manifested at a young age. He began his professional career with the Nigerian club ACB Lagos. In 1989, his impressive performance at the FIFA World Youth Championship caught the attention of Belgian giants RFC Liege, who signed him alongside Sunday Oliseh. At Liege, Ikpeba quickly established himself as a key player, earning him a transfer to French powerhouse AS Monaco in 1994.

Monaco proved to be the stage for Ikpeba's greatest triumphs. His exceptional skills and contributions earned him recognition as the African Footballer of the Year in 1997.
